“Original Story: Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series will both end when their current seasons, which were interrupted more than once in their runs, end later this spring. Announced through their exclusion on Cartoon Network’s “new and returning shows” press release for fall 2013, the series both suffered from broken-up seasons, including a sudden and unexplained pause in the fall of 2012 after only a few episodes of each. A representative from Warner Brothers Animation confirmed to Newsarama the cancelation. Cartoon Network’s only official stance is that the new episodes already produced will continue to air.”

Hurricane Sandy in NJ

I live in Moonachie NJ which suffered sudden floods and a lot of fallen trees in my area. I was in the kitchen when a tree suddenly fell on my home and broke the roof in my room. We had to run out of the house after quickly putting the cat in the cage and ran out of our home. As of right now, all of the floors in my home have to be replaced because of flooding, my room needs to be repaired and there is still no power. But we’ve been lucky enough to stay with family across the street with power. It’s a really small space here and we’re sleeping on the floor and hope to return home in a month. In the meantime, we will start cleaning out the home and hopefully get money from FEMA to make repairs.

But there are others who have homes completely crushed from the storm so I consider myself lucky. (Only the pictures of the ceiling is my own home). We’ve also been given food and supplies from cars that come by filled with packages. The red cross has been giving out blankets and hot meals from a truck. Hygiene supplies and foods have been donated by a Church which seems to be located in Utah while we are here in New Jersey. I am not a religious person but I am extremely grateful for the help we have received from others and I hope the others affected by the storm are receiving the same kind of help and can return to a normal life soon.
